Components of Factory Densimeter D51

The device consists essentially of components, attached to a worktable: control unit, measuring, unit, electronic high-accuracy  scale. The unit is free-standing and can be set up anywhere in a laboratory or in the factory. There is sufficient space below the unit to accommodate a container to collect measured tobacco  samples. The unit can simply be rolled.

Principle of Filling Power Measurement 

The Densimeter method is considered around  the world to be the standard for determining the  filling power of cut tobacco. A sample of cut  tobacco in a cylinder is subjected to a load for a  certain length of time. When the load time has  elapsed, the height of the tobacco column  provides the filling capacity (specific volume).  The filling power of the tobacco is a decisive  factor in the production of the tobacco rod.
